THE YEAR IN SWEDEN

Who are the Swedes? What are their secrets? This book walks you through 12 months of little known facts and fun anecdotes about the land of the Midnight Sun - where you can read a newspaper outdoors in the middle of the night and people dine on rotten fish!

THE BROTHERS LIONHEART

My brother, Jonathan, knew that I was going to die. 'How can things be so terrible,' I asked. 'That some people have to die, when they're not even ten years old?' 'I don't think it's that terrible,' said Jonathan. 'I think you'll have a marvellous time.'

A tender story of courage, love, and life after death from the author of Pippi Longstocking. Now available in paperback.

SWEDEN - INSIDE OUT

Get the low-down from an insider, who presents a wry but affectionate perspective on Sweden and its super-shiny Swedes. Packed with pointers for business travelers, tourists or new residents alike, this guide guarantees to turn Sweden inside out!

PENWOMAN

Penwoman is the classic novel about the Swedish suffrage movement. Originally published in 1910, this was Elin Wägner’s second novel. Having begun her career as a journalist, she went on to become one of Sweden’s leading writers. This is the first time Penwoman has been published in English.

THE RED ROOM

In print in English for the first time since 1967, The Red Room is often called Sweden’s first modern novel, and it remains modern almost a century and a half later. It was August Strindberg's (1849-1912) breakthrough novel and is a true classic.
