In the margin to the left on Swedenbookshop.com's home page is a Search box for free text search, where you can search for an item using any keyword. The results of your search will be presented in a list, where you can click on a title or a book-cover to see further information about the item.
Please note that materials in English, Swedish, French, German and Spanish are listed under the title in their respective language. Materials in all other languages are listed under their title in English.
Search the shop - Advanced search
The Advanced Search form allows you to perform a more complex search based on: Title, Author, Subject , Category, Language, Item Number, ISBN, and Free Text Search. It is possible to combine all the different search fields when performing the search. Example: If you wish to find a children's book by Astrid Lindgren in Chinese, type Astrid Lindgren in the Author Field, choose Chinese in the Language Field and choose Children’s books in the Category Field.
In the margin to the left you will find a list of catagories. By clicking on a specific category you will get a list of all the items in the chosen category. You can limit your search further by chosing one or more languages and click OK. By clicking on a title or book cover in the result list you will get more information about the chosen item.
You can sort your search results in the list by clicking on title, author, language or price.

Search for SI publications
On the Search the shop - Advanced Search page, you can choose to search for Swedish Institute publications only. This will make it easier for those of you who mainly order publications from the Swedish Institute to find what you are looking for.
